You will be required to access the Active directory Users and Computers window for this tutorial. Please see the document titled: “How To Add A New User Account” which can be found in the Systems support section for information concerning how to locate and open the active directory users and computers window.
To edit a user double click on user’s name.
To edit a user double click on user’s name.
Type the name of the group that you wish to add the user to e.g. Secure in the “enter the object names to select” box and then click check names if the group name is correct it will become underlined like the example to the right.
Then click OK to complete the process.
The user is now configured for the required group’s access.
